DISTRICT WRESTLING!

Register for Districts on Trackwrestling. We are District 1. Here is some important information.

The top 8 placers from Districts advance to Regions. The top 3 at Regions advance to the State Tournament. This year our Region takes the top 4 Novice.

*Weight classes cannot be changed after Districts so it’s important to make sure your wrestler can maintain his/her weight through the Regions and the State Tournament. If your wrestler is close to the cut off for a weight class, you may want to consider moving up a weight class. It is an option to go up weight classes before the District Tournament starts but not after. We can check weights at practice and look at weight classes with you, please don’t hesitate to ask if you have any questions!

*Please do not enter your wrestler for Districts if you are unable or don’t plan on attending Regions or the State Tournament as it could be taking a qualifying spot away from another wrestler who is able to attend. Qualifying wrestlers from Districts are automatically entered into Regions brackets.

*In order to allow opportunities for other deserving athletes, if you are attending Heartland Duals you will not be eligible to compete in the 2023 DWCA tournament series. If you are attending Heartland Duals and are entered in any of the SDWCA tournament series events, you will be notified and removed from that event.

*Our club has a block of rooms reserved in Aberdeen for the State Tournament.

March 11 | Region Tournament- Rapid City (Westside)
March 24-26 | State Tournament- Aberdeen
